Urban Agriculture Directors

The Urban Agriculture Directors manage the Pyle Center Rooftop Garden, researching and implementing urban agriculture techniques, leading workdays, and harvesting crops. They also oversee the Full Cycle Freight bike compost program, maintaining equipment, training interns, and creating partnerships with local businesses and residencies for compost pickup.

Zoey Colglazier

Zoey is a senior studying Geography, Cartography/GIS, and Environmental Studies, and very excited to be working with F.H. King as an Urban Agriculture Director. She’s really interested in people

and their relationships to land, and loves the challenges that urban agriculture can bring. Outside of school, you can usually find Zoey at community service projects with Circle K International, swing dancing, or eating breakfast food with her roommates. Her goals this year include trying new gardening techniques on the rooftop garden, making new connections with Full Cycle Freight, and having at least one event where people can make jam. Her favorite vegetable is broccoli.

Molly Devore

Molly DeVore is a junior at UW studying Journalism and Environmental Studies, with a certificate in Cinema Production. She loves learning about new ways of connecting people to their food and is

excited to continue to connect land, food, and community at F.H. King. This year she hopes to find a new home for F.H. King’s rooftop garden and is eager to get to know the hydroponics system. In her free time Molly likes to get outdoors, read and most importantly, post on the instagram account she made for a muskrat skull she found last summer! (Muskrat skull pictured)
